Format Result As…

Seems to be some confusion surrounding building Expressions over this:

The bottom line is, whatever you select above directly effects the options you see in the Text Component Editor as shown below:

If you’re creating an expression for a station label, for example, then format the result as a “Station.” Formatting as “Double” is the default setting, but formatting as “Double” formats the resultant value as Unitless.

Your options include:

Angle
Area
Coordinate
Dimension
Direction
Distance
Elevation
Grade/Slope
Latitude
Longitude
Station
Volume
