I learned to use DCA while in school in Illinois; took my first Civil/Survey job with a firm in Edwardsville, IL (near St. Louis). I’ll never forget the words of my first boss, “Get good with this software, it’ll take you a long way.”

I can’t help but feel blessed every day. I hope this doesn’t sound like a sales pitch, but we Civil/Survey types are a tight bunch, I love that about our industry. As the rebuilding of the gulf coast begins, many of you will be called upon to work long hours in unbearable conditions. But if you’re anything like me, your looking for a way to offer a little help now.
