QUAD Index
Locating a USGS QUAD typically starts with a peek at an index. I saw one on the wall of an office I was in this morning. But did you know it was available for free as ArcView Shapefile?
You can import the grid (in Lats & Longs) using MAP 3D, Civil 3D, or Land Desktop:
