Layer On/Off – but seriously, what’s the difference… Objects on turned-off layers are invisible, but they still hide objects when you use the HIDE command. Transparent Commands
Yesterday I talked about the transparent commands in Civil 3D. You can access them by turning on the Transparent Commands Toolbar.
