If you’ve stumbled upon this page, welcome to the new home of “Civil 3D – Paving the Way.” For several years, Paving the Way was hosted by Google. But in an effort to begin to take advantage of all that cloud computing has to offer, I felt it was necessary to move the blog to my domain at www.121pcs.com.

In the coming weeks, I’ll explain more about “121.” How it was born, what it means, and how I hope it helps you become more marketable, more productive, and more profitable as a student, a teacher, a business owner, a licensed professional, a designer, a technician, or an application engineer.

I’ve received many e-mail, and many calls in the past weeks, and I know many people concerned about their future, struggling to find work, or struggling to keep their businesses alive. My position in the Autodesk reseller channel was recently dissolved, and I too woke up feeling that even through hard work and dedication, I had somehow fallen through the cracks. But I’ve learned over the years that if you remain hopeful, don’t forget where you came from, and do the right things in life, even a step backward can be a step in right direction.

I hope 121 becomes your home address for all things design and drafting, and in the end, together, I know we can pave the way to find success in the future.
